Malkangiri: Three idols of Lord Ganesh at a puja pandal in Malkangiri have caught the attention of all as the organizers attempted to spread the message of communal harmony.
Malkangiri Ganesh Puja Committee organized the puja at the Old Medical Colony on August 31. They had placed three idols of the Lord on the pandal.
While one idol depicted Lord Ganesh as per Hindu mythology, another idol of Lord Ganesh had a Bible and cross in his hand, and another with a Quran in his hand.
The organizers had also written a message “Sabka Malik Ek” at the pandal.
However, some people alleged that it hurt their religious sentiments and lodged a complaint in this regard at Malkangiri Police Station.
