Bhubaneswar: The Odia Language Literature & Culture Department on Tuesday wrote to all Collectors and SPs of all districts to take necessary measures to stop the use of ganja (cannabis) on the shrine premises, especially Shiva temples, in the state.
The directive has, however, evoked mixed responses from the Shiva devotees who consider ganja to be a main offering to Lord Shiva.
