Borigumma (Koraput): Borigumma police have seized ganja worth around Rs one crore and a mauser from a house in Irrigation Colony here.
Police raided the place while ganja traffickers were making arrangements to smuggle out the contraband.
Police have seized 1.45 quintal ganja and pick-up truck from the spot. However, the contraband smugglers managed to flee the spot during the raid.
The owner of the house from where the contraband was seized has been identified as Simanchal Sahu. He had allegedly given the house on rent.
Borigumma SDPO Madhusmita Mishra, Boriguma IIC Khireswar Sahu and local Tahasildar Sabyasachi Jena were present during the raid.
