Bhubaneswar: In a ceremony held at Lok Seva Bhavan, Odisha’s outgoing Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja was bid farewell by the General Administration and Public Grievances Department.
Senior officers, including Additional Chief Secretary Surendra Kumar, praised Ahuja’s administrative skills, personality, and human values, wishing him a peaceful retirement.
Ahuja expressed gratitude to the department’s officers and employees for their cooperation during his tenure, emphasising the importance of providing good services to the public. He advised everyone to maintain their health and work efficiently.
Anu Garg, a senior IAS officer, took charge as the new Chief Secretary, becoming the first woman to hold the position in Odisha. Garg brings over three decades of administrative experience, having served in key roles such as Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary of Planning and Convergence.
