Girl Student Killed After Being Hit By Dumper In Nayagarh

Bhubaneswar: A girl student was killed on Monday after being hit by a sand-laden dumper near Golapokhari village under Fatehgarh police limits on the Bhapur-Rajsunakhala road in Nayagarh district. A boy was also injured in the accident.

According to reports, the deceased girl has been identified as Puja Pradhan of Begunia village under Fatehgarh police limits. The critically injured boy has been identified as  Abinash Pradhan. Both were studying in class VIII.

Puja and Abinash were returning home on their bicycles after attending tuition at Golapokhari village when they were hit by a sand-laden dumper. Locals immediately rushed them to Bhapur Community Health Centre (CHC).

However, Puja was declared dead by the attending doctors at the CHC.
