Bhubaneswar: Visitors heading to Nandankanan Zoological Park for Raja festivities will get a chance to tour the zoo on Monday, June 15, as authorities have revised the weekly off for this week.
Both the zoological and botanical parks, which usually remain closed on Mondays, will remain open on June 15 to mark Raja Sankranti. In lieu of the change, the parks will be shut on Tuesday, June 16.
According to Nandankanan authorities, the decision was taken keeping tourist footfall in mind, as major festivals falling on the regular weekly closure day are typically accommodated.
The revised schedule has been announced to help tourists and locals plan their Raja holiday visit.
