Goods Train Catches Fire Near Soro Station In Balasore

Balasore: A coal-laden train caught fire at Soro station in Balasore district on Saturday.

Locals spotted smoke emanating from three bogies of the train. They immediately dialed ‘112’ seeking fire department’s assistance.

Station officials were also informed.

Two fire tender units from Soro rushed to the spot and took the blaze under control.

Later, the train left for its destination. The reason of fire has not been ascertained.
