Goods Train Goes Off Tracks In Bhubaneswar, Passenger Services Unaffected

Bhubaneswar: A goods train has derailed near Bhubaneswar railway station on Friday. However, no casualties have been reported due to the derailment, according to the East Coast Railway authorities.

As per reports, the train derailed between Master Canteen and Vani Vihar Square as two wagons of the train went off the tracks. The mishap took place when the train was on its way to Cuttack.

“There is no damage to life or property,” said ECoR in a statement.

The ECoR has confirmed that the middle and up lines remain unaffected by the derailment, ensuring that passenger train services will continue to operate normally. The movement of coaching trains will not be impacted by this incident.
