Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor-designate Braj Mohan Ram on Friday visited Srimandir in Puri for darshan of Lord Jagannath and later sat with his wife on the temple’s sacred Baisi Pahacha (22 steps) to seek blessings.
“We have come to the land of Lord Jagannath, Odisha, to serve the people of this state. After offering prayers and seeking the darshan of Lord Jagannath, we prayed for the happiness, well-being, and prosperity of everyone here. I prayed to Lord Jagannath that all the people of Odisha remain happy and prosperous and that our state continues to progress”, he told reporters.
He arrived in Bhubaneswar earlier today along with his family and relatives. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy welcomed him at the Biju Patnaik International Airport.
