Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Sunday awarded Police Service Medals to at least 38 police personnel at the Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar in recognition of their distinguished service from 2019 to 2024.
The event was attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, DGP-Odisha YB Khurania, and several other senior officials.
Eighteen cops, including Southern IG Dr Sarthak Sadangi, OSAP 6th Battalion Commandant Suryanarayan Mallick, Vigilance Additional SP Sushant Kumar Biswal, Ganjam Additional SP Rajiv Lochan Panda, Crime Branch Inspector Shradhanjali Panda, were awarded the Governor’s Medal for their exemplary service during the year 2024.
