Bhubaneswar: The Orissa High Court has withdrawn its interim stay order on the appointment of 2,735 multi-purpose female health workers in the State.
The stay order was issued on February 3, 2025, after the top court heard four cases related to the recruitment process.
The court lifted the stay order after considering the replies filed by the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSO SSC) and the State Health Department.
With the stay order removed, the recruitment process for the multi-purpose female health workers has been expedited.
The Health and Family Welfare Department has announced that the Chief Minister will formally appoint the selected candidates at a recruitment fair scheduled to take place in Bhubaneswar on February 7.
