Bhubaneswar: HDFC BANK under its healthcare initiative launched it’s captive ATM on the premises of Apollo Hospital, Bhubaneswar on Sunday. The ATM was inaugurated by Dr Alok Srivastava, Chief Operating Officer & Director Medical service and Amar Kumar Behera, Chief Financial Officer in presence of senior officials of HDFC Bank.
Dr Srivastava appreciated the work of HDFC bank to come forward to set up ATM at Apollo hospital premises. The ATM will help COVID warriors and their relatives along with patients, he said.
“We must focus on Health rather than diseases. Every individual must focus on 3S i.e, salt, sugar and stress. If we control the 3S, our lives will be healthy,” Dr Srivastava added. HDFC Bank officials stated that the Bank will provide give best services to all Doctors, staff and support members of the hospital.
HDFC Bank ATM is enabled with a number of non-cash transaction-related services. The public can use it as a mini bank, they said. This is the 370th ATM of HDFC Bank in Odisha and the Bank will add another 50 ATMs in the State soon. The new ATM will cater to an average of 2,000 people, the bank officials said.
“HDFC Bank being a socially responsible organization has been taking many initiatives in Health Segment to support the needy since the outbreak of COVID. We have established a state-of-the-art oxygen plant at Capital hospital to support the State Government fight COVID. This initiative is a part of HDFC Bank Parivartan, the bank’s CSR Wing.”
