Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued a Yellow Warning of heavy rainfall and thunderstorm with lightning for Odisha. Heavy rainfall is very likely across the State for the next five days.
In the next 24 hours, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Nuapada, Bolangir, and Kalahandi. Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Odisha, during the same period.
On June 30, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, and Jajpur.
Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, and Kandhamal.
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kendrapara, and Cuttack on July 1, and over over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, and Boudh on July 2.
On July 3, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Boudh, Sonepur, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj.
