Bhubaneswar: Heavy rainfall and thunderstorm with lightning is likely in Odisha in the next two days, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday.
The weather agency informed that the Low Pressure Area over North Chattisgarh & neighbourhood now lies over northeast Madhya Pradesh & neighbourhood. It is very likely to move west-northwestwards during the next two days.
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Cuttack, and thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, and Kandhamal today.
Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj tomorrow.
