Dhenkanal: As many as three youths died when the scooter they were travelling in collided with an unidentified vehicle near Gobindpur on National Highway 55 in Dhenkanal district on Friday morning.
The identity of the deceased youths is yet to be determined.
The driver of the unidentified vehicle reportedly fled the scene after the collision.
Upon being informed, the Sadar police have seized the scooter and are investigating to identify the victims and locate the errant vehicle.
Sadar police have reached the scene and are working to gather more information about the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
