Hotel Owner Critically Injured After Being Attacked By Miscreants In Balasore

Balasore:  A hotel owner sustained severe injuries after being attacked by a group of miscreants near Samalpur Chhak under the jurisdiction of Industrial Police Station in Balasore district, on Friday.

The hotel owner identified as Sanjib Kumar Mohapatra Mahapatra, a resident of the Balia area was rushed to the district headquarters hospital in critical condition.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack was the outcome of the past animosity.

Upon being informed, the Industrial Police Station and Town Police Station have initiated a joint investigation into the incident. The police are reviewing CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to identify the perpetrators.

The incident has sparked concern among local business owners, highlighting the need for enhanced security measures.
