Bhubaneswar: Of late, a burglary was reported in the Apartibinda area of Bhadark district, leaving a resident bereft of valuable possessions.
According to sources, Suresh Chandra Barik, a resident of Apartibinda, was away attending his mother’s death ritual in his village when thieves targeted the rented home of Suresh Chandra Barik in Bhadrak’s Apartibinda area, making off with cash and valuable gold and silver jewellery.
The miscreants broke into Barik’s rented residence, damaging the door and window, and decamped with cash and gold and silver jewellery stored in an almirah.
Barik filed a complaint with the Town Police, who have registered a case and initiated an investigation to apprehend the culprits.
