Bhubaneswar: In a move to enforce Pollution Under Control (PUC) norms, vehicle owners in Odisha can now easily locate the nearest authorised PUC centre online.
The state government will implement strict checks during the National Road Safety Month, observed from January 1 to January 31, 2026. Vehicles without a valid PUC certificate will be penalised under the Motor Vehicles Act. Additionally, petrol pumps across the state have been instructed not to refuel vehicles lacking a valid PUC certificate as part of the enforcement drive.
To facilitate compliance, an online portal has been launched where motorists can find authorised vehicle pollution testing centres across the state. Users can visit https://puc.parivahan.gov.in/puc/views/PUCCenterList.xhtml, select Odisha, choose their Regional Transport Office (RTO), and access a full list of centres along with addresses.
The Transport Department said the move aims to reduce vehicular pollution and improve air quality across Odisha.
