Bhubaneswar: The Prashanti Express will run on diverted route and Howrah-SSPN Express will be cancelled partially for two months due to safety-related modernisation work in connection with rehabilitation of unlined portion of tunnel and bridges between Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam and Basampalle Railway Stations under South Western Railway Jurisdiction.
A communiqué issued by the East Coast Railway stated that Howrah-Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam (SSPN)-Howrah Express (22831/22832) from Howrah will be cancelled partially on every Wednesday from December 06, 2023 to February 2, 2024. Similarly, the train Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam will be cancelled on every Friday from December 12, 2013, to February 9, 2024 partially between Dharmavaram and SSPN from both directions.
Similarly, Bengaluru-Bhubaneswar-Bengaluru Prashanti Express (18464/18463) from Bengaluru will run on diverted route (Penukonda-Nagasamudram-Dharmavaram route) from 7th December 2023 to 7th February 2024
