Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on Monday issued a notification inviting applications for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026, a mandatory qualifying examination for candidates aspiring to teach in primary and upper primary schools across the state.
As per the notification, both fresh candidates and in-service teachers are eligible to apply for the test through online mode.
The application process will commence on March 26, 2026, and remain open till midnight of April 9, 2026. Candidates have been advised to complete submission of application forms along with payment of fees by 11:45 PM on the closing date.
The OTET 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on May 29, 2026, in two sessions. Paper-I will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, while Paper-II will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
Admit cards will be available for download from May 15, 2026, on the board’s official website.
