Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officer Nikunja Bihari Dhal, was appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday.
The 1993-batch Odisha cadre IAS officer served as Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of the State, during the 2024 General and State Assembly elections.
Before joining as the CEO of Odisha, Dhal served as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Energy Department and Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) in 2023.
