IAS Reshuffle: Poonia Given Addl Charge Of Sports & Youth Affairs; Prasanth Kumar Reddy Becomes IDCO MD

Bhubaneswar: The State Government has effected a reshuffle of IAS officers, effective immediately. According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievances Department, the following appointments and transfers have been made:

Bhupendra Singh Poonia (2008), Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Skill Development & Technical Education Department, will take on additional charge as Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Sports & Youth Services Department, replacing Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav.

Prasanth Kumar Reddy (2009), Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Department, will assume additional charge as Managing Director, IDCO.

Rashmita Panda (2010) is appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Department, while retaining her additional charge as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Startup Odisha, and CEO, ORSAC. She will be relieved of her duties as Vice-Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority, Managing Director, Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited, and Special Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department.

Surendra Kumar Meena (2012), Additional Secretary, Scheduled Tribe & Scheduled Caste Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, will take on additional charge as Executive Director, Centre for Modernizing Government Initiatives (CMGI), and Convener, Committee on Administrative & Governance Reforms, replacing Vineet Bhardwaj.

Aboli Sunil Naravane (2015), Director, Industries, will assume additional charge as Managing Director, IPICOL, while retaining her additional charge as Managing Director, Odisha Small Industries Corporation, and Managing Director, Odisha State Financial Corporation. She will replace Bhupendra Singh Poonia as Managing Director, IPICOL.
