Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has announced a significant reshuffle of IAS officers, effective immediately. According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, several senior officers have been given new assignments.
Satyabrata Sahu, 1991 batch officer, previously serving as Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, and Additional Chief Secretary, Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department, has been appointed as Member, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack.
Deoranjan Kumar Singh, 1993 batch IAS officer, previously Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, has been appointed as Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary and Secretary to Government, Planning & Convergence Department. He will continue to hold the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department.
Hemant Sharma, has been given the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department.
Shubha Sarma, a 1999 batch officer, currently serving as the Principal Secretary of the Women & Child Development Department, will hold the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department.
Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, 1999 batch officer, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department.
Rajesh Prabhakar Patil, a 2005 batch officer, currently serving as Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Co-operation Department with additional charge of Chairman, Odisha State Warehousing Corporation (OSWC) and Special Secretary of Housing & Urban Development Department, will hold the additional charge of Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) and Managing Director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority.
Madhumita Rath, (2015), has been appointed as Collector and District Magistrate, Nayagarh.
Akshya Sunil Agrawal, previously Collector of Nayagarh, has been appointed as Gajapati District Collector.
