Bhubaneswar: IGP Shyni S, who is at the helm of Training at the Biju Patnaik State Police Academy (BPSPA), was on Sunday presented with the prestigious DGP Disc Award for her significant contribution to police training in the state.
The Bureau of Research and Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs gives the award. IGP Shyni S was important in bringing radical changes to the police training syllabus. She has been working at the Biju Patnaik Police Academy since 2019. To date, he has trained 3,000 cops whose designation ranges from the rank of constables to DSP. Her contribution to reforming the syllabus and imparting education in new ways is outstanding.
