IMD Alert: Five Districts To Face Intense Rain In Next Three Hours

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather alert for five districts in Odisha, predicting moderate to intense rain and thunderstorms with wind speeds 30 to 40 kmph within the next three hours.

As per IMD’s bulletin, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur and Jajpur districts will be affected in the next three hours.

Residents are advised to be cautious and take necessary precautions to protect themselves from lightning strikes.

The IMD has urged people to keep a close watch on weather updates, move to safer places immediately, avoid travelling unless necessary and stay indoors during heavy rain and thunderstorms.
