IMD Alert: Moderate Thunderstorms And Rain Likely In 13 Districts In Next 3 Hours

Bhubaneswar: Moderate thunderstorms, rain, lightning and surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at most places over 13 Odisha districts in the next three hours, according to the India Meteorological Department.

As per the nowcast warning issued by the IMD at 7:10 am, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangapur and Puri districts are very likely to witness moderate thunderstorms, heavy rain and lightning in the next three hours.

The regional weather office has advised people of these districts to remain alert and exercise caution while travelling.
