Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in different parts of the State over the next five days. Besides, thunderstorm and lightning is also very likely to occur at several locations during the same period.
For the next 24 hours, the IMD has issued a yellow warning for Nawarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Kandhamal, and Bolangir districts predicting heavy rainfall.
Similarly, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nawarangpur, Koraput, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Cuttack, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Malkangiri, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, and Rayagada districts are very likely to witness lightning and thunderstorm.
Simlarly, Bhubaneswar will experience wet weather with one or two spells of rain during the next 24 hours. The capital city will have a cloudy sky with maximum and minimum ranging between 34 degrees and 26 degrees.
