Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rain in several districts of Odisha for three days starting February 19.
An IMD statement said that light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhargarh, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, and Balasore on February 19. A yellow warning has been issued for thunderstorms with lightning at isolated places in the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhargarh, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, and Balasore.
On February 20, light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, and Balasore. The IMD has also issued a yellow warning for these districts.
Similarly, districts like Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Balasore are likely to experience light rain on February 21. Meanwhile, the weather agency has forecasted a dry spell in the next 24 hours
