Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued a yellow warning for four districts of Odisha, forecasting light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at isolated places over the next three hours.
According to a nowcast warning issued by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, at 5.10 pm, the alert covers Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam and Kandhamal districts.
The IMD advised people in the affected areas to remain alert to changing weather conditions and take necessary precautions in the event of worsening weather.
