Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday night issued a Yellow warning for light rain accompanied by light thunderstorms and lightning in four districts of Odisha over the next three hours.
According to the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, light rain with light thunderstorms and lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places in Khordha district, including Bhubaneswar city, Puri, Jagatsinghpur and Kataka district, including Kataka city.
The nowcast warning, issued at 10:05 pm, will remain valid for the next three hours.
The IMD has advised people in the affected districts to keep a close watch on the weather for any deterioration in conditions and plan their activities accordingly to ensure their safety.
