Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD has predicted an increase in rainfall activities throughout Odisha, keeping an eye on the cyclonic circulation over the neighbouring state of Jharkhand.
The weather office, in its mid-day bulletin, stated, “A cyclonic circulation lies over Jharkhand and its neighbourhood between 3.1 and 7.6 km above mean sea level, tilting southwards with height.”
Light to moderate rainfall has occurred at many places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and a few places over the districts lying on the interior side.
The district of Mayurbhanj has received heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two places, whereas some places in Balasore and Jagatsinghpur have received heavy rainfall.
The highest maximum temperature of 35.0°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi, and the lowest minimum temperature of 22.5°C was recorded at Nabarangpur.
