“The low pressure is active over north Odisha and adjoining areas on Monday, associated cyclone extending up to 7.6 km height of the atmosphere. It is likely to cross Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh to North Madhya Pradesh in the next two days.”

Several districts, including Bolangir, Bargarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Kalahandi, Boudh, Nabarangpur, and Nuapada, are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rain (7 cm to 20 cm) today. At the same time, the IMD has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain (7 to 11 cm) in Angul, Cuttack, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, and Keonjhar districts on Monday.
