Bhubaneswar: Visitors coming to Cuttack Baliyatra will get an opportunity to feel the unique experience of walking through the ocean this year.
A Cuttack-based private organisation is planning to set up an underwater tunnel aquarium on the bank of river Mahanadi during the eight-day-long Bali Yatra. Such an arrangement will be made for the first time in the mega trade fair this year.
Revellers will enjoy the walk-through tunnel aquarium and watch various marine creatures. More than a thousand species of marine fish will be exhibited in the 200-foot-long, 60-foot-wide tunnel aquarium. Small sharks, jellyfish and various colorful fishes and octopuses will attract the eyeballs of visitors.
It will offer a unique experience of watching marine as well as freshwater fish up-close.
Walking through the tunnel will feel like you are walking inside the sea. Siridi Saibaba Enterprises of Cuttack is going to make this kind of arrangement through a Chennai-based organisation. The work for the unique set-up will be started soon.
