Jajpur: Two soldiers of the Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) have set an example of humanity and generosity. The duo, Sangram Nayak and Chittaranjan Behera who are posted on the border, came to know about a girl in their village, whose marriage was facing an impediment owing to a financial crisis.
Both Behera and Nayak came from their place of posting and made arrangements for the girl, Padmini Behera’s marriage. Apart from making logistics arrangements, both the Army personnel contributed money for clothes, and ornaments, and treated the guests with good food and other all formalities.
However, Padmini is not related to them. Yet on learning about the plight of the girl, an orphan, Behera and Nayak made up their mind to help her at a crucial juncture when the wedding was about to be cancelled because of financial issues. The two Jawans of SSB have appealed to the public to spare time for the people in need and come forward to help them.
