Bhubaneswar: In the midst of a growing controversy involving 21-year-old Puri YouTuber Priyanka Senapati, who has allegedly been linked to Jyoti Malhotra, a fellow content creator recently arrested on espionage charges, the Puri Superintendent of Police Vinit Agrawal confirmed on Tuesday that an investigation is currently underway.
Police are rigorously examining all aspects of the case to ensure a thorough and comprehensive conclusion.
“We are still in the process of investigating and have not yet reached a conclusion. Once all inquiries are completed, a detailed conclusion will be provided,” Agrawal stated while addressing the media.
Further clarifying the ongoing investigation, Agrawal assured that the Puri police are collaborating with several agencies.
“We are in touch with all relevant departments and will provide any information that is requested,” he added.
As the investigation continues, Agrawal noted that Priyanka Senapati remains in Puri. One key development in the case is the discovery of a drone video posted by Senapati on her Instagram account.
The video is currently under scrutiny and police are investigating its source. It was also revealed that Senapati deleted the video shortly after posting it.
The investigation is expanding to examine multiple aspects, including Priyanka’s social media accounts and bank records.
“All directions are being investigated,” Agrawal confirmed, emphasizing that Priyanka and her family have been fully cooperative throughout the ongoing probe.
