Bhubaneswar: Jagannath temple in Belabahali village under Ghasipura police limits in Keonjhar district was robbed of valuable ornaments and cash.
According to reports, burglary made away with gold and silver ornaments, including crowns and other decorations, from the idols of Lord Jagannath, Lakshmi, and Bimala. Five donation boxes containing lakhs of rupees were also looted.
Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation into the theft, which is part of a series of temple robberies.
The lack of CCTV cameras around the temple has made it difficult for authorities to track down the culprits.
