Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government today announced to set up a medical college in Jagatsinghpur district.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi made the announcement during a discussion on the Appropriation Bill in the State Assembly. The government move is a part of the state government’s larger plan to establish medical colleges in all districts of Odisha within the next five years.
According to Paradeep MLA and Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain, the government is also working on setting up an airfield in Jagatsinghpur. It is expected to boost the district’s infrastructure and provide better opportunities for its residents.
