Bhubaneswar: A jawan was found hanging on the premises of the 7th Battalion in Bhubaneswar. The deceased has been identified as Duryodhan Mohanty, a sepoy of 2002 batch.
Duryodhana’s body was found hanging from a tree on the campus this morning. The Batallion authorities informed the matter to police immediately.
The police recovered the body and sent it for autopsy. However, the cause of death remains unclear. It can only be ascertained after post-mortem, police said.
It is not known whether Duryodhana committed suicide. Maitri Vihar police station has registered a case of unnatural death
Investigation is underway.
