Bhubaneswar: A day after resigning from the BJD, Jayadev MLA Arabinda Dhali today joined the BJP in the presence of the party’s election in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, co-in-charge, State president Manmohan Samal and other senior leaders at party’s state headquarters in Bhubaneswar.
Dhali resigned from the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Saturday citing no reason.
Apart from Arabinda Dhali, former Malkangiri MLA Mukunda Sodi also joined the saffron front.
Dhali, who represents the Bhubaneswar Jayadev assembly constituency currently, has been elected to three Assembly from Malkangiri thrice.
Dhali had won the 2009 election from Jayadev Assembly Constituency.
It seems that BJP will form the government in Odisha by securing over 100 seats as large number of leaders leaders are joining the party, Dhali said after joining.
