Joda/Barbil: Jindal Steel’s Kasia Mines has been honoured with the prestigious Kalinga Excellence Safety Award in the Platinum Category for its outstanding performance and significant contribution to safety practices in 2024. The award was presented during the 16th National Safety Conclave–2025, organised by IQEMS.
The award was conferred by the Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, Surama Padhy, and the Jajpur MP, Dr Rabindra Narayan Behera, in the presence of several eminent personalities from diverse fields.
Receiving the award on behalf of Jindal Steel, Pramod Kumar Patra, Cluster Head – Jindal Steel (BKT), expressed gratitude for the honour. “Strict compliance with safety norms remains an integral part of Jindal Steel’s work culture.
