Bhubaneswar: The revamped Kalinga Studio has reopened for visitors.
Considering the demand from the public, the authorities of Kalinga Studios Limited have opened the studio for both visitors and shooting during the festive season.
According to the ticket rates fixed by the studio authorities, the entry ticket for general access into the studio is Rs 20 per person, which is mandatory. Separate ticket rates have been fixed for the studio’s main attractions – Snow Park, 3D Movie Magic and Adventure Land Ghost Bungalow.
While the ticket fee for Snow Park is Rs 150, it is Rs 100 for the 3D movie and Rs 25 for the Ghost Bungalow. Paying Rs 275, a visitor can enjoy these three places. Including the entry ticket, Rs 295 will cover the full studio tour. Separate tickets have to be taken for each attraction.
It is pertinent to mention that the studio was formally opened for the public on October 20, with a fixed time slot and special ticket arrangement for the visit.
Visitors will be allowed inside in two phases – 10 am to 1:30 pm and 2 pm to 5:30 pm. There are seven slots in each phase, totaling 14 slots. Each slot is of 25 minutes duration. Snow Park will operate only during the designated slot time. The authorities have also informed that tickets will not be refunded or changed.
Notably, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi earlier this month inaugurated the revamped and modernised Kalinga Studio, which has been upgraded to meet the changing requirements of the Odia film industry.
