Bhubaneswar: The Revenue and Disaster Management Department of Odisha government has placed Block Development Officer (BDO) of Kantamal Sami Reddy Jayashree, OAS-A(JB) under suspension with immediate effect.
As per order issued by the department, a disciplinary proceeding against the officer is contemplated. During the period of suspension, her headquarters has been fixed at the office of the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Northern Division), Sambalpur. She has been directed not to leave the headquarters without obtaining prior permission of the RDC(ND), Sambalpur.She will be entitled to subsistence allowance as per Rule-90 of the Odisha Service Code.
The department has also directed the Collector, Boudh to serve the suspension order and furnish draft charges along with memo of evidence against her.
