Bhubaneswar: A disturbing social media post reportedly threatening to bomb the 400-year-old Baldev Jew Temple at Ichhapur in Kendrapara, has triggered panic and outrage among devotees.
The post, made by a person using a fake name, has sparked a swift response from law enforcement.
Members of Baldev Jena, an outfit submitted a memorandum to Kendrapara Superintendent of Police seeking action against the individual who threatened to bomb the 400-year-old Baldev Jew Temple at Ichhapur on social media.
“Baldev Jew Temple, a 400-year-old sacred site, attracts devotees nationwide. Its security has been neglected,” alleged Pupun Kumar Swain, president of the outfit.
