Bhubaneswar: Keonjhar Town Police arrested a person in connection with the mysterious death of a lady lecturer from Government Women’s College at her male friend’s house.
The arrested person has been identified as Rudra Narayan Mishra, the male friend of the deceased.
According to reports, the deceased’s family has filed a written complaint at the Town police station, accusing Rudra Narayan Mishra of the murder. Based on the complaint, the Town police have arrested the accused. He will be produced in court today.
Priyanka Das, a resident of Talapada village in Balasore district, had been working as a guest faculty in the Home Science department for the last two years. She was residing in a rented house near Nirmala Convent School on Mining Road, where she reportedly shared the premises with Rudra (45), a local resident.
Her family alleged that she was murdered, citing injury marks on her neck, and demanded a thorough police investigation.
