Bhubaneswar: In an important notification, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has said that the relatives and friends of the deceased in the three-train accident near Bahanga Bazar need not go to any other hospital but to reach the AIIMS – Bhubaneswar for identification.
All the unclaimed bodies have been stored in containers on the AIIMS-Bhubaneswar premises for relatives and friends to identify. Besides, a helpdesk has been set up at the hospital where the state forensic laboratory is conducting DNA tests of the claimants to identify the severely mutilated bodies.
It is worth mentioning here that several bodies of the accident victims are yet to be identified even six days after the accident.
