Koraput: A proud moment for Vikram Dev University, Jeypore, as a third-year student has been invited to attend the prestigious Republic Day ‘At Home’ reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The student, Debasmita Benia, a resident of Lingaraj Nagar, has earned this special honor in recognition of her exceptional contributions to National Cadet Corps (NCC) activities.
Debasmita, who has previously received the Rajiv Gandhi State Award and the Chief Minister’s Award for her outstanding performance in NCC, was selected for this prestigious event.
The invitation was personally handed over to Debasmita by the Jeypore Post Office Officer at his residence in Lingaraj Nagar.
Upon receiving the formal invitation letter, Debasmita expressed her heartfelt gratitude to President Droupadi Murmu, the Government of India, her NCC officer.
NCC Caretaker Officer (CTO) Santoshini Munda confirmed that Debasmita will leave for Delhi on January 18 to attend the Republic Day celebrations at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
