Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths have detected a string of immovable and movable assets during ongoing searches at properties linked to Satyanarayan Sethy, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Kotpad Block in Koraput district, in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Sethy and his family members;
- One 2-BHK Flat vide Flat No.G/B.6-14 with area approx 1000 Sqft in Ground floor, Block- B/6, Plot No.132 in Hi-tech Plaza under Madhipur Mauza, Jatani, Khordha.
- One farm house spread over 10.03 acres (Mango plantation farm & Eucalyptus plantation) located at Mouza-Taragaon, Boriguma Tahasil, Dist-Koraput.
- Another Farm house spread over 4.35 acres (Nilgiri plantation) located at Mouza-Taragaon, Boriguma Tahasil, Dist-Koraput
- 32 valuable plots under Jeypore, Koraput Boriguma, Kotpad, Patangi Tahasils in Koraput district.
- Cash Rs.5,48,000/-.
- Gold jewellery 300 gms.
- Bank, Postal deposits and other investments in financial instruments are being ascertained.
The measurement and valuation of the flat, farm houses and plots is being carried out by the Vigilance Technical Wing. Searches at the properties linked to the AEE are continuing and further details are expected once the assessment is complete, officials said.
