Jaypore: Train services in the Koraput–Jagdalpur-Kirandul section have been affected due to a landslide between Koraput and Jeypore Tail Section at Maliguda Station under Rayagada Division of East Coast Railway.
In view of the safety of train operations and restoration works, ECoR has decided to cancel and partially cancel several trains on specified dates.
According to a release issued by ECoR, 18515 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Express and 18516 Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Express will remain cancelled from both sides from October 4 to October 7.
The 18107 Rourkela–Jagadalpur Express will remain cancelled from October 3 to October 7 from Rourkela, while 18108 Jagadalpur–Rourkela Express will remain cancelled from October 4 to 8 from Jagadalpur.
Besides, 18005 Howrah–Jagadalpur Express from Howrah from October 2 to 7 and 18006 Jagadalpur–Howrah Express from Jagadalpur from October 4 to 9 will run between Howrah and Koraput and will remain cancelled between Koraput and Jagadalpur from both sides.
Also, 18447 Bhubaneswar–Jagadalpur Hirakhand Express from Bhubaneswar from October 3 to 7 and 18448 Jagadalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express from Jagadalpur from October 4 to 8 will run between Bhubaneswar and Koraput and will remain cancelled from Koraput to Jagadalpur from both sides.
As per release, 58501/58502 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Passenger from both sides between October 4 and 7 will run between Visakhapatnam and Koraput and will remain cancelled from Koraput to Kirandul.
Passengers are advised to take note of the revised train services and plan their journey accordingly. Bulk SMS have been sent to the Passengers having reserved tickets. Railway has advised passengers to plan their journey accordingly.
