Bhubaneswar: All excluded Anganwadi workers will receive assistance under the BJP’s flagship Subhadra Yojana in its third phase, assured Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
Addressing concerns about the exclusion of eligible beneficiaries in earlier phases, Parida clarified that the government is committed to ensuring no eligible Anganwadi worker is left out.
Parida highlighted that 2.67 lakh applications were initially rejected, but the Cabinet has decided to re-evaluate these applications to prevent any oversight.
“This is the first time in history where a rejected list is being thoroughly reviewed,” she stated. The government will release detailed guidelines for the review process on November 1.
The Subhadra Yojana, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17, provides Rs 50,000 in financial aid to eligible beneficiaries aged 21 to 60, distributed in 10 installments of Rs 5,000 each.
