Light Rain And Thunderstorms Likely In Eight Odisha Districts In Next Three Hours

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for eight Odisha districts, predicting light rain or thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) within the next three hours.

According to nowcast warning issued by the IMD at 2:30 am, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Boudh, Kalahandi, and Nuapada districts are likely to witness light rain or thunderstorms with lightning in next three hours.

Residents are advised to monitor weather updates and seek shelter in safe areas to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
